You’ve done the hard stuff, found great deals on cheap Paris hotels, flown in or taken the train and now the City of Light is just begging to be explored. If your time is limited it will be just a case of flying around cramming in as much as you can. If however, you have more time, or you are a multiple visitor, it is nice to take things more slowly and combine the sights with experiences of life in the city.

Catching the best sunset in Paris all depends on where you are and when. If you’re staying at one of the cheap hotels Paris has to offer you, then your room is probably not adequately located to enjoy the Paris sky. It also depends on when you plan to go to Paris, as the winter sky is quite distinct from the summer one. Paris is known for its rather bland winter that strikes cold into the toughest man.

Doing it by bus is by far the cheapest and most convenient way to travel, as taxis are too expensive, trains won’t let you view Paris’ meandering streets, and going everywhere on foot may lead to strain, injury and exhaustion – especially if you want to pack a lot in your day!
