Cheap hotels in Paris are a fantastic opportunity to spend extra time seeing attractions that many people cram into a whirlwind of a weekend. It’s all very well dashing about a city seeing the major sights in a couple of days, but that means some treasures are merely given a perfunctory look see, instead of the time to fully explore they actually deserve.

Beaches in Paris? Almost as unheard of as cheap hotels in Paris once were. But the iconic landmark city of France is actually home to both. During the sweltering summer months of July and August, Paris becomes unpleasantly humid and uncomfortably hot. Those Parisians that can, escape from the city and spend a few weeks cooling off at the seaside or retreat to country homes to get away from the masses of tourists and the heavy heat.

Paris has a unique history with that smooth sound that came out of New Orleans Louisiana so many years ago. Some were disenfranchised, and some just wanted to hang out and bring their style to the city of lights, but they were already famous musicians back in hometown New Orleans. Greats like Kenny Burrell, Herbie Hancock and Johnny Griffin brought their music, and have played in the best of the jazz clubs of Paris.

The Seine is a burgeoning beast that flows laboriously down its way, stream-lining its stone banks like a razor edge. The Seine privileges visitors with views of many of the most famous monuments in Paris, including the tall Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, and the Notre Dame Cathedral. It also slides by La Conciergerie, once a palace. Within the walls of La Conciergerie, visitors will come to a small and otherwise unremarkable site: Sainte-Chapelle.

Why exactly did you decide on that cheap Paris hotel? You should’ve decided on inexpensive accommodation in order to be able to spend greater quantities of dinero on fine dining. Whether it’s for elegance that goes beyond luxurious, with upholstered chairs and drapes that make you feel that you’re somewhere royal, or if it’s for the calm atmospheric scenes, or more likely if it’s for the exquisite cuisine, your outings to sample fine French dining will be well-rewarded.
